Your dog's first visit

What happens at the first meet-and-greet, why your pet profile matters, and anxious dogs welcome.

Every dog at BluePawSky was a first-time visitor once. Here's what that first drop-off actually looks like so you know what to expect.

The meet-and-greet

On first visits, I take a few extra minutes at drop-off. I'll ask about your dog's personality — are they shy, energetic, reactive to other dogs? I'll watch how they explore the space and let them set the pace. No rushing, no forcing.

Your pet profile matters

I read your pet profile before every visit. The more complete it is, the better prepared I am. Temperament notes, health info, vet contact — it all helps me give your dog the care they actually need, not a generic one-size-fits-all approach.

Anxious dogs are welcome. I have experience with dogs that need a little extra patience — the ones who need space, who warm up slowly, who just need someone to move at their speed. We'll figure it out together.
